Here's how it works: For every order we receive, a formula is used to calculate the estimated emissions from the shipment. Based on these estimates, a portion of our revenue goes to carbon removal companies vetted by Carbon Direct scientists. Those companies use that money to remove the amount of carbon our shipments have created. Any additional funds will go toward further developing carbon removal technologies.
